The administration office of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library is moving to Berwick on February 2, 2017. Our new address, in the Town Hall and Library complex, will be 236 Commercial Street, P.O. Box 510, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0. As a result of our move, some services will be interrupted or suspended.
Our online catalogue will be available and placing of holds will not be affected; downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines will not be affected. All branch libraries will continue with regular open hours, and the Bookmobile will continue service during the week of January 30 – February 3. Find the Bookmobile schedule here.
As of January 13, at 5 PM, we have suspended acceptance of book and DVD donations until further notice. Staff and space that are currently allocated to processing our donations will be re-assessed once we are settled into our new location. Please check back with us in March for information on donating books and DVDs.
Our administration office will be closed January 30 – February 3. Phones will not be answered during this closure. As of January 27, at 4 PM, administrative services that will be impacted include phone help with downloadable eBooks and audiobooks, assistance with PIN numbers, Borrow by Mail service, regional deliveries to branches, and website services such as Contact Us. We expect regular administration services to resume on February 6th.

As of January 27 at 4 PM, we will not be processing online library card applications until February 6. During this time, please visit one of our branches to get your library card.
Printed overdue notices will not be mailed during the week of January 30- Feb. 1. Emailed notices will continue to be delivered as usual.
